Collegium Musicum - Open seats for Fall 2009
Performance opportunities available for musicians age 11 to 18 (6th to 12th grade) with Collegium Musicum. The rehearsals are on Monday nights at MCC (across the street from Goodnow). The group consists of mostly LS and Curtis students and play a range of music from classical to rock-and-roll. This year Collegium Musicum participated in a few notable projects including the fund-raisers for the Habitat for Humanity and the LS Madrigal Dinners.

There will be open seats for vocalists, guitarists, winds, brass and strings players for the 2009-2010 season. Click here for information about Collegium Musicum from the MCC website.

About Curtis Friends of Music

The Curtis Friends of Music is a parent-led organization dedicated to providing funding, programs, and opportunities which complement and extend the instrumental and vocal music curriculum at the Curtis Middle School. We raise funds, provide logistical support, publicize music events and advocate for a strong, vibrant program within the Curtis community.

Curtis Friends of Music provides funding for:

Travel to competitions/performances
Master classes and guest artists
Purchase of instruments/music not funded by school budget
