Curtis Friends of Music Meeting with the Music Directors
We will meet with Dr. Mealey, Mr. Erde and Mrs. Kenney to discuss the music projects for the upcoming school year. The meeting date has not been finalized yet, but it will be in late September or early October.
The major project for the year will be the 3 day Music Festival trip which is planned for next spring. Dr. Mealey will schedule a separate meeting to discuss the details of this trip.
The Calender Page has been updated to reflect the concerts and field trips for the upcoming school year.

About Curtis Friends of Music
The Curtis Friends of Music is a parent-led organization dedicated to providing funding, programs, and opportunities which complement and extend the instrumental and vocal music curriculum at the Curtis Middle School. We raise funds, provide logistical support, publicize music events and advocate for a strong, vibrant program within the Curtis community.
Curtis Friends of Music provides funding for:
- Travel to competitions/performances
- MMEA Junior District Festival participation fees
- Master classes and guest artists
- Purchase of instruments/music not funded by school budget
How You Can Help Curtis Friends of Music
- Join Curtis Friends of Music
- Volunteer to help at music events
- Support music at Curtis by attending concerts
